Captain & Vice-Captain
The Indian team has some players to choose from but Rohit Sharma will likely be captaining the side with Virat Kohli as his vice-captain. India’s batting order will most likely see Shikhar Dhawan at one opener with KL Rahul at six or seven. The middle order would have probably MS Dhoni opening followed by Hardik Pandya, Kedar Jadhav and Dinesh Karthik or Ravindra Jadeja in that order. In the bowling department, Umesh Yadav is expected to open with Jasprit Bumrah at nine or 10 before handing over to Mohammed Shami and Bhuvneshwar Kumar in that order. Kuldeep Yadav will also start at eight or nine and may be given some overs to bowl when the spinners are taken off.

Batsmen (top order)
Given that India lost their first match against England, this game is an opportunity to redeem themselves. They will be playing to win and given their batting depth, it is not difficult to imagine a scenario where India bats deep if they need to chase a big total or bat defensively with a lot of spinners in the middle overs if they are defending a small total. As far as who might play in this game we can assume that India will go into the match with three batsmen at the top of their order (Skipper Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma). In terms of other batsmen who could come in later on we may see Ambati Rayudu, KL Rahul, or Dinesh Karthik.
All-rounders
1) KL Rahul – Compatible with both batting and bowling; he can bat up or down the order to suit your needs! 2) Rishabh Pant – Another all-rounder who is a great option at either number four or five in an innings, depending on what you want him to do! 3) Hardik Pandya – One of India’s main bowlers who can also be used as a batsman at number seven if needed! 4) Shreyas Iyer – The other batsman who can be used as a bowler if required; this would make him more of an ‘all-rounder’ than just a pure batsman or pure bowler! 5) Krunal Pandya – More like his brother Hardik, but not so much with the ball but instead with the bat in hand. 6) Vijay Shankar – A good pace bowler which could come in handy when needed, especially against opponents such as Bangladesh. 7) Kuldeep Yadav – An off-spin bowler that India has relied heavily on throughout their run to the semi-finals of the competition. 8) Yuzvendra Chahal – A leg spinner that has been used by many teams throughout world cricket to take wickets because of his accuracy and guile with the ball! 9) Jasprit Bumrah – Another solid seamer who has been difficult for opposition batters to deal with during games.
Wicket Keeper-Batsmen
The wicketkeeper-batsmen will be the backbone of this match as they are in all matches. The Indian team has a unique advantage in that they have two of the best in MS Dhoni and Wriddhiman Saha but will have to choose one due to the necessity of having five bowlers in their eleven-man squad. Their batting order is predicted to be as follows; Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma (c), Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, Hardik Pandya and Dinesh Karthik who is capable of playing his shots at number six with his experience from playing county cricket with Surrey last year. Kedar Jadhav is likely to open the batting alongside Rishabh Pant for the first few overs before he bats lower down the order.
Spinners
The Indian team’s spinners are their trump card in this series against Bangladesh. The Indians have two of the most effective spinners in world cricket today Ashwin and Jadeja; both of them will be a huge advantage to India on this pitch which is expected to provide something for the spinners. The other Indian spinner who could come into play is Chahal who has been impressive with his recent performances. The three pacers for India will also play a crucial role as it has been well-documented that there might not be much for the fast bowlers to do with little assistance from the wicket. These three pacers are likely to be Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohammad Shami and Jasprit Bumrah. In terms of the batting order, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma open up for India while Dhawan comes at 3. That leaves 2 more spots which should go to MS Dhoni and Hardik Pandya respectively while Vijay Shankar completes the eleven as the 12th man (substitute).
Fast Bowlers
While it may not be easy to pick an outright favorite at this point, India appears to be a strong bet to make it into the next round of matches, as does England. A few moments ago we talked about who would win between India and Bangladesh at the T20 World Cup; unfortunately, there is not a lot of information that we have on this side yet. Nonetheless, we can still make an informed decision based on what cricket betting tips 2023 are available so far!
