Top teams in WBBL08
We are down to just two teams left in WBBL08. Adelaide Strikers has been rock solid so far, winning all of their matches. Perth Scorchers has lost just one match and it was against Melbourne Stars. They should take on each other in a low-scoring affair which should be another enthralling contest for cricket betting tips fans.
Most explosive batsmen in WBBL08
If you enjoy cricket betting tips, then you’ll love knowing which batters have been on fire for their teams. The latest edition of WBBL has seen some incredible batting. For example, Meg Lanning has posted scores of 109, 68 and 85 in her three innings so far. However, several other players have made positive starts to their campaigns as well. Let’s look at five players who could make huge impacts if they can maintain their form throughout WBBL08
Most economical bowlers in WBBL08
Australia – India did not see any changes in their bowlers’ positions in the world rankings, so people will have to place their money on only new players for Australia and India. Among players, Australia’s Holly Ferling climbed four spots up from her position of ten last year. In second place came Lea Tahuhu who was very impressive in WBBL08 with a tally of 11 wickets. She is just behind Ferling and she has been pushed one spot down from her standing of third last year. Another bowler for Australia named Ashleigh Gardner also moved up three spots from her place last year. These are all outstanding players, but then you can find many other great bowlers such as Danielle Wyatt who is sitting on top after playing an excellent season.
Teams with the most matches on home turf
The Brisbane Heat have three of their five matches at home, along with both semi-finals and one final. Their other home match will be against Melbourne Stars on January 17th. The Melbourne Renegades have two of their five matches on home turf, while Adelaide Strikers get all four of their matches at home – including a doubleheader which they would love as they eye up making it all six wins from six games in Adelaide before switching to Canberra for February 21st’s second semi-final. The Sydney Thunder are likely to be favorites for most of their games, but like Perth Scorchers – who also get three out of five at home – will probably have just two finals at Spotless Stadium in February and March.
