The second innings saw Virat Kohli and co start slowly as they were cautious not to throw away wickets which would allow Australia’s lower-order batsmen to make amends and get some quick runs before they get themselves back into bat again. What followed were two consecutive dismissals by Nathan Lyon which led them to lose momentum while chasing down 230 runs from 48 balls remaining.
