Colin Munro, the New Zealand opener, put on a batting masterclass, finishing unbeaten on 99 runs, propelling the hosts to a commanding total of 3-214. His brilliant display guided the Heat to their second-highest team total in BBL history.
Throughout the innings, Munro’s fluent stroke play dismantled the Stars’ bowling attack, drawing praise from Heat captain Usman Khawaja, who lauded Munro’s elegant innings in post-match comments to Fox Cricket.
