A tidy bowling performance helped Shikhar Dhawan and Co. restrict Capitals to 174/9. Sam Curran scored a half-century in the second innings, as Punjab went on to win by four wickets with as many balls to spare. After a bright start, PBKS hit a roadblock when they clashed at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, to face Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The Faf du Plessis-led Bengaluru bowled well to keep Punjab to 176/6 in the first innings. Virat Kohli played a phenomenal innings to help the home team win with four wickets in the last over. In the ongoing IPL 2024, both teams are coming into the upcoming fixture on the back of losses. Hence, they will want to turn their fortunes and bounce back strongly in the tournament.
