When are the matches?
The competition will run from 6th September to 7th October, with a rest day on 5th September. The group stage matches will be played in Colombo, with the semi-finals and final taking place at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
The 16 teams have been divided into two groups of eight, with each team playing all others in their group once over three days. Two points are awarded for a win and one point for a tie or a no result. A team is eliminated if they lose both of their games or have no results.

– Seddon Park – Hamilton, New Zealand
– Basseterre Cricket Ground (St. Kitts) – St. Kitts and Nevis
– Providence Stadium – Guyana
– Vidarbha Cricket Association Ground (near Nagpur) – Nagpur, India

10 teams are participating in this competition, and they are split into two pools of five. Group A has Bangladesh, Ireland, Netherlands, Pakistan and Sri Lanka; while Group B consists of Australia, England, New Zealand, South Africa and West Indies.
The top team from each pool will qualify for the semi-finals. These will be played at Lord’s Cricket Ground on July 7th and 8th respectively before the final on July 13th at Emirates Old Trafford. Eight teams will be competing in the tournament, and each will play three group games (some of which may end up being against each other). Once these games are completed, two teams from each group will progress to the semi-finals.
